FRANKLIN COUNTY — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Monday evening arrested and charged a Ewing substitute teacher with two counts of grooming and two counts of distributing harmful material to a minor.
Sheriff David Bartoni says 26-year-old Nicholas A. Price was arrested by detectives and a search warrant was carried out at his home.
At the time of his arrest, Price was working at Ewing Grade School as a substitute teacher and also served as an assistant Sunday school teacher at Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton.
The sheriff noted the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
Price’s brother-in-law, Jeremy Jackson, was arrested in 2018 for solicitation of a sexual act to a minor.
Jackson worked at Benton High School at the time he was charged.
