WASHINGTON COUNTY — A 51-year-old Marissa man was killed Monday when the vehicle he was driving was struck by a garbage truck in Washington County.
Around 4 p.m. Monday, Randall Koeller was reportedly southbound on County Highway 6 in Washington County when he failed to stop at the stop sign where the highway intersects with County Highway 13.
Koeller’s truck was subsequently struck by a garbage truck driven by 51-year-old Willie Willis of Sparta and continued southwest into the corner of the intersection. The truck would overturn in a field causing Koeller’s fatal injuries.
