MT. VERNON — This is the final weekend for campaigning in the Illinois governor’s race, and Governor Bruce Rauner is spending some of his weekend in deep southern Illinois. Some of the stops Rauner will make include the Metro East, Carbondale, and Saline County on his bus tour of downstate Illinois.

Rauner says everyone’s voice should be heard in this election.

The governor is squaring off with J.B. Pritzker for another term in office.
