BENTON — The Benton / West City Chamber of Commerce is looking for a new Executive Director.

Chamber President Lauren Johnson announced in an email to chamber members Wednesday that Executive Director Karen Mullins has resigned to take an opportunity to become director of a larger community’s Chamber of Commerce. Johnson did not say where Mullins is going.

Johnson says the Chamber is now accepting applications for Executive Director. Click here to check out the job description. You can drop off your resume and cover letter at the Chamber office on North Main in Benton or email it to info@BentonWestCityChamber.com. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Johnson hopes to have someone in place prior to Mullins’ last day on Friday, Aug. 10.

The Chamber will hold its August Board Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 9  and members will be able to say farewell to Mullins and send her best wishes in her new adventure.
