MT. VERNON — Multiple Mt. Vernon businesses have partnered with the city of Mt. Vernon to help the city purchase many new items for the Cusamano Sports Complex at Lincoln Park.

Four new scoreboards were installed on the ball diamonds, new safety netting for the spectator bleachers, a new P.A. system, and a new air conditioning unit for the main concession building of the complex.

Mt. Vernon mayor John Lewis says when they made the sponsorship opportunities available to the community, he was pleasantly surprised at the response.

Lewis says the additions will help to attract more tournaments to the complex, which will bring money to local businesses.
