Marvin “Pete” Harl Eller, Jr., 60, of Centralia, Illinois passed away at 12:15 A.M. June 17, 2018 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Hewas bornon December 9, 1957 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Marvin H. Eller, Sr. and Velma Fern Crunk. He married Tami Eller on August 4, 2007 in Branson, Missouri. They were blessed with nearly 11 years of marriage until he preceded her in death.

In addition to his wife,  Peteis survived by his children: Jenny Campbell and husband Michael of Anderson, South Carolina; Chester Eller and wife Tonya of Texico, Illinois; Becky Summers and husband Lee of Columbus, Indiana; and Elisabeth Angus of Mount Vernon, Illinois; stepchildrenJessica Showen and fiancé Anthony Crossland of Edwardsville, Illinois; and Emily Withrow and husband Landon of Keenes, Illinois; grandchildren  Anthony Campbell, Janessa Campbell, Dawson Campbell, Sarah Eller, Gavin Eller, Cade Summers, Adalyn Summers, Brant Summers, Jaden Angus and Hailey Angus; step grandchildrenEthni and Lawson Withrow; and brother Mark Hoffman of Dix, Illinois.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, David Hoffman.

Pete loved God, his family, his country, and fishing. He loved to travel and spend time outdoors. Pete worked in the shipping department as a laborer forGraphic Packaging. He will be missed dearly by all wholove and knew him.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Funeral Service:Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Hayes officiating.  Interment: Union Chapel Cemetery in Texico, Illinois. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Way of the CrossRanch Ministries. Way of the Cross is a local, faith-based organization that uses God’s gifts of nature and the outdoors to help bring at-risk children into Christ’s love.
