On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX News.

28-year-old Melody Burdel of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for possession of meth less than 5 grams and a bond forfeiture warrant.

19-year-old Elias Hernandez of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday for battery, armed home invasion and manufacturing / delivery of cannabis between 30 and 500 grams.

26-year-old Gail Williams of Wamac was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for criminal damage to property.

23-year-old Stephen Gavins of Evansville, IN was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving without a driver’s license.

33-year-old George White of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving on a suspended license.

38-year-old Vincent Davis of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving on a revoked license and resisting a police officer.

34-year-old Justin Brown of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Thursday for driving on a suspended license.
