The Benton City Council Monday night approved having Rodney Potts with John H. Crawford and Associates Engineering available to help with the engineering involving the finishing of the East Main Parking lot if needed. This is the parking lot across from Joe’s Pizza.

City Clerk Brook Craig says nothing has been done at this time and the price tag for the project is not available at this time. Craig says the project will be paid for from the downtown TIF funds.

The city will also be installing no loitering/littering signs on all municipal parking lots because there seems to be a lot of trash being left in all the parking lots.
