The city of Flora will be celebrating its new dog park later this month with a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening.

The grand opening of the dog park will be on Thursday, June 28 at 5:30 p.m. There will be refreshments and dog treats available at the ceremony, and people can check out pets for adoption from Fur A Good Paws and the Clay County Animal Rescue and Shelter.

The new dog park is provided to the city by the Flora Rotary Club and North American Lighting.
