There was a fatal single-vehicle crash on the Old Route 146 Loop, west of Honeysuckle Lane, in Johnson County Thursday.

Illinois State Police are not releasing names of drivers or passengers at this time.

Three people inside the vehicle were taken from the scene to out of state and area hospitals. One of the three people succumb to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
