Richard Alan Towal, 88 Years and 12 Days, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 1:35 P.M.February 12, 2018 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was bornJanauary 31, 1930 in Benton, Illinois to Frederick & Lena (Whittington) Towal. He married Marjorie A. Towal on February 14, 1987 in Alameda, California and she preceded him in death.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Masonic-Odd Fellow Cemetery in Benton, Illinois with Reverend Victor Long officiating.

Memorials: First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon and to First United Methodist Church in Mount Venron.
