Lorene Elmeda Werve, 94, of Decatur, Illinois, formerly of Mount Vernon,passed away at 2:43 P.M. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Evergreen Senior Living Center in Decatur, IL with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1924 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to William and Iva (Mundy) Hayes. She first married Jacob Downes then married Keith Werve who preceded her in death.

A private family funeral service will be held.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of Christ Lads to Leaders Program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
