A Harrisburg man will spend the next 13 years in prison for home invasion.

Saline County State’s Attorney Jayson Clark says 44-year-old Scotty L. Adams entered a guilty plea Friday in Saline County Circuit Court to a Class X felony charge of home invasion. Besides his prison sentence, Adams will also serve three years of mandatory supervised release.

The state’s attorney’s office filed charges against Adams on Nov. 8 of last year. Those charges arose out of an incident in which it was alleged that Adams invaded the victim’s home in Harrisburg and intentionally caused injury to the victim.

This case was investigated by Harrisburg Police. Assistant State’s Attorney Jason A. Olson led the successful prosecution of Adams.
