The owner of a fifth-wheel camper trailer in Kell has filed a report with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office that someone shot up the hunting camper and stole a number of items from inside, including firearms.

According to reports, the camper was parked off the 5400 block of Kell Road where someone reportedly shot out the windows and also fired rounds inside the camper, damaging the refrigerator, glass shower door, mirrors, and cabinets.

A rifle, binoculars, and two-way radios were reportedly taken. The owner reported the damage to sheriff’s deputies Saturday afternoon. The incident remains under investigation.
