Deep frying a turkey and properly utilizing stuffing this Thanksgiving season is one of the most common questions coming to USDA health officials this year. Sarah Litchman with the USDA food safety division says deep frying a turkey can be dangerous if done improperly. She has these tips if you are a trying it out for the first time this year.

Litchman says this year they are getting a lot of questions regarding stuffing and indicates the recommendation is to not stuff the turkey while your cooking and don’t stuff it the night before either.
