(MT. VERNON, IL) — A fourth suspect to enter a plea in connection with the January shooting death of DeAndray Jackson has pleaded not guilty. On Tuesday, 24 year old Curtis Devan, Jr. made the plea in Jefferson County Court to charges of attempted robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of murder. He now faces a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday April 11th at 9:30 a.m. Previously, 18 year old LeKedrieon Russell, 22 year old Jarron Liddell, and 23 year old Tony Feggins have pleaded not guilty in their court appearances, while 20 year old John Wells, 21 year old Dantrez Brown, 19 year old Lamar Williams Jr., and 18 year old Deon Frazier still face arraignment. Jackson was shot January 20th and was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
