(BENTON, IL) — The Franklin Hospital Board recently named Jim Johnson to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing Hervey Davis.  Davis resigned and retired at the end of June after serving as the hospital’s CEO since 2002.  Johnson, who serves as the hospital Chief Financial Officer, will serve in his current position and as CEO for the foreseeable future as the hospital has no plans to find someone to become CFO. The hospital board also has a new chairman as Bob Lewis will replace Brent Young, who is now vice chairman. The board also approved the formation of a special committee to recommend a long term solution for the hospital’s hospitalist program. This committee will report back to the board within 90 days.
