Carmi, IL – Lieutenant Cory Ristvedt, District 19 Interim Commander, announced the results of an Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrol which was conducted in Hamilton County on Friday, 06/24/2016. Authorities issued 7 total citations and 16 total written warnings including 2 DUI arrests, a no valid/suspended driver’s license citation, and an occupant restraint citation. There were no speeding citations or other drug or alcohol related arrests during this patrol. The Illinois State Police (ISP) reminds those who drink and drive that future patrols will be conducted. The ISP will continue to work to save lives by taking DUI offenders off the road, arresting them, and locking them up.
