(Carbondale, IL) — Carbondale Police are warning businesses to look out for fake money. They say they’re looking into several cases of counterfeit cash being used in the area. Cops suggest that employees at businesses make sure to take a close look at Presidential watermarks and security strips on bills. Those two features should be easily seen when the money is held up to the light. If anyone has information about the phony money they’re urged to call Carbondale Police.
