WEST FRANKFORT – Three West Frankfort residents were arrested on various charges after Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were sent out to a report of a noise complaint originating from a home in rural West Frankfort just after midnight Wednesday.

According to Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon, upon arrival deputies made contact and spoke with numerous subjects within the home. While speaking with the involved subjects, deputies saw drug paraphernalia and firearms in plain view inside of the home.

As a result of the investigation, John T. Gaskin of West Frankfort was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Weapons by a Felon – a Class 3 felony – and Obstructing Justice – a Class 4 felony.

Charles L. Murphy of West Frankfort was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – a Class A misdemeanor – and Obstructing Justice – a Class 4 felony.

Stacy L. Rogers of West Frankfort was arrested for Obstructing Justice – a Class 4 felony.

All three subjects were taken to the Franklin County Jail.
