SOUTHERN ILLINOIS — The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory that will be in effect from noon today until 8 tonight for our area.

Forecasters says heat index values up to 105 degree are expected. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. You should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
